YLJ-HP-200T series Pneumatic Hot Press equipped with a precision constant pressure controller within +/- 0.5 kg up to 1.6T and 200°C. It is designed for testing the effect of pressure on solid-state battery performance, and can also be used for the SEI formation and lamination of solid-state battery electrodes under hot pressing. This device is Ar gas compatible and can be used in the glove box.

Pneumatic Press
  • Max. Load: 1.6 T ( 1600 Kg or 150KN)
  • Pneumatic cylinder travel distance 200 mm Max.
  • Working area: optional 300 x 300 mm ( 12"x12") or 500 x 500 mm ( 20"x20")
  • Max. working height: 0 - 110 mm
  • Driven by any standard air compressor or inert gas tank, which is not included. 0.2 ~ 0.8 MPa of air pressure supply is needed. Please click the picture below to order.
  • Attention: If a gas cylinder is used instead of an air compressor (pic2), a two-stage pressure regulator (pic1) must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure within the required working range for safe operation. Click here to learn about the installation of a gas regulator.

Heating Plates
  • Two heating plates with two independent single-point temperature controllers 
  • Single point PID temperature control with +/- 1 ºC accuracy
  • Heated plate area: optional 300 x 300 mm ( 12"x12") or 500 x 500 mm ( 20"x20")
  • Max. working temperature: 200 °C (continuous)
  • Heating Rate: < 3 °C/ minute
  • Power: 208 - 240 V (50/60 Hz), 3000 W, single phase
Pressure Controller
  • Pneumatic cylinder bore size 125 mm diameter.
  • Digital pressure controller with PID tuning, which can keep the constant pressure at setting value.
  • 30 segments programmable. (max working time: 9999 minutes for each segment)
  • Pressure Accuracy: +/- 0.5 kg
Control Panel
  • The control unit is in a separated box with touch screen control panel, which will paramters below
    • Temperature program up to 30 segments
    •  Pressure setting
  • If you need put the hot press into a glovebox, you may order two KF40 feedthough to put the control unit outside glovebox
    • One feed-through for gas tubes.($295.00/set)
    • One feed-through for power and communication cords.($500.00/set)
  • The feed-throughs are not included in the standard package, please contact us for more information.
