1000ºC Max. Vacuum Pressing Furnace with 4" Quartz Tube and 2T Force- OTF-1200X-VHP4

The OTF-1200X-VHP4 is designed for making dense compound materials under both vacuum and high pressure up to 2 metric tons. It is integrated with a split vertical tube furnace with a vacuum-sealed 4" quartz tube and 2000 kg digital electric press, as well as one set of 0.5" ID graphite pressing dies. The furnace can be heated up to 1000ºC using a temperature controller with 30 programmable segments. Water-cooled flanges facilitate a vacuum level up to 10E^-5 Torr via the use of an optional turbomolecular pump.
Note: The hydraulic press has been converted into a more precise digital electric press since March 25, 2020

Graphite Pressing Die Set 

  • One set graphite supporting rod (One top & one bottom) is included ( Pic. 1 left)
  • One set of 0.5" ID graphite die is included for immediate use. ( Pic. 2 left )
  • The dies are made of high purity graphite with a working pressure of 100 MPa  ( force 1.28T).  High er force may reduce die's service life or broken.
  • The graphite pressing die gets broken easily and is consumable, please click on the central photo below to order extra sets. We c also provide customized die sets up to 1" at an extra cost
  • Mica spacers are used to adjust the height of die sets (while providing heat insulation). Please click on the bottom right picture below to order spares. bottom right photo
