1600°C Cold-wall High Vacuum Furnace (Heating Area 200×200×300mm) - HVF1600X12L

HVF1600X12L is a cold-wall front-loading high vacuum furnace up to 1600°C with all metallic components inside the vacuum chamber. It provides a clean and well-defined high vacuum condition. The furnace is resistance heated by molybdenum or tungsten bands inside a water-cooled stainless steel vacuum chamber. The effective heating area is 200×200×300 mm for vacuum and inert conditions. The system can also be modified for hydrogen gas upon request.

  • 10-foot power cable is included without a plug
             Vacuum chamber
            • 304 SS water-cooled vacuum chamber
            • ISO100-K vacuum port for vacuum generation. 
            • Vacuum level:  <1e-5 torr at room temperature.
            • 1/4 gas inlet and outlet with valves
            • Two float flowmeters. 
             Heating chamber
                

            • 1 set of tungsten heating bands
            • Multilayer thermal reflection layer made of refractory alloy
            • Effective heating zone: 200 W x 200 H x300 D mm (12 L)
            • Tungsten heating bands can only be used under high vacuum (<1e-4 torr) or an Ar ambient. 
             Temperature control
             

            • Eurotherm 3000 programmable temperature controller with over-temperature protection
            • Touch screen control panel for easy setup and recording of the temperature profile 
            • B type of thermal couples
            • Temperature accuracy: +/- 1 °C
            • Max. working temperature 1600°C
            • Max. heating rate: 20°C / minute
            • Temperature uniformity <±8°C
            • RS 485 port for PC remote control
