1500°C Roller Table Atmosphere Furnace (ACRHF) with 112L Capacity - RHF-1500L

RHF-1400L is a roller table atmosphere furnace with 1500ºC max working temperature and 112-liter capacity ( L80xW40xH35, cm). The furnace is designed for simulating a big continuous kiln to find suitable sintering parameters at a low cost, and it is excellent for making cathode materials and hard carbon for a pilot test of battery research.

Furnace Features


  • Two heating zones ( top and bottom) with a ceramic roller table in the middle to produce rapid heating
  • Heating elements are made of SiC rods with a maximum. 1500ºC working temperature
  • The heating module is placed inside a vacuum chamber for atmosphere control from oxygen to inert gases.
  • 800 mm L heating zone ( 112 Liter capacity )
  • Dual programmable temperature controllers provide +/-1ºC accuracy
  • Three flowmeters are installed for gas flow control
  • An oxygen analyzer is built in for monitoring oxygen content during processing

  • AC 440V (+/-10%) , three-phase, 50/60 Hz 
  • ( 380VAC, 3-phase is available upon request )

Heating chamber
  • SiC rod as a heating element
  • Heating Zone: L 800 mm x W 400 mm x H 350 mm ( 112 liter capacity )
  • Constant temperature zone: 660 mm with +/- 5ºC
  • Almina ceramic rods are placed in the middle of the heating chamber to hold the multi-crucibles
  • Max. working temperature: 1300°C max (< 2 hours ) and 1200°C (continuous )
  • Max heating rate: 10 ºC/ minute
Vacuum chamber
  • The heating module is placed into a stainless steel vacuum chamber with
    • KF 40 vacuum port
    • Vacuum gauge
    • Gas inlet and outlet port ( 1/4)
  • Two-hinged types of doors for loading and unloading samples
  • Vacuum level: 10-1 torr for the use of oxygen, and 10-2 torr for the use of inert gases
  • Positive pressure: < 0.5 bar

Temperature Control


 

  • Two temperature controllers for controlling two zones independently via SCR
  • PID automatic control with up to 30 programmable segments for precise control of heating rate, cooling rate, and dwell time.
  • Over-temperature protection and alarm allow for operation without an attendant.
  • Two S-type thermal couples are included
  • ± 1 ºC temperature accuracy for dwelling.
  • RS-485 Communications Port.

Crucibles (optional)
 

  •  Four Alumina Saggar  ( 330x330 x120 mm ) can be placed inside the furnace 
    •  Each alumina sagger can handle 20 kg of NMC powder, and 80 kg of powder can be sintered per batch
  • 24 small alumina saggers (140x140x66 mm) can be placed via two rows x 3 layers ( 4x2x3 ) 
    • Each alumina sagger can handle 2 kg of NMC or hard carbon precurser powder, and 48 kg per batch

Space required
